May, 14[Testimonial] The Transition from Sock to Tool Roll
From sock to tool roll, tubular tire clad cyclist, Ken H. finally made the switch, and man does it look good!
“Here is the old sock versus my new EH Works tire carrier on my fixed gear bike. What I like is the concept is similar (and nicely old-school), but with your roll I can carry a 15mm wrench, a tire iron (for prying off tubular flat), and a CO2 inflator along with my spare tubular tire neatly and securely rolled up. I used to have to carry the tools in my jersey as the sock just gets misshapen and difficult to attach. The pockets on your roll do the trick with securing my tools, and because they are covered pockets, they do not harm my tubular. I ride tubulars on my street fixed gear bikes and also am going to invest in a set for my road bike.” – Ken H.
